    Short Description:
    Join butterfly expert Suzi Bond* for a ramble to see how many of the 87 species found in the ACT we can sight on the Pinnacle.
  • Monthly work party

    Short Description:
    Installing big tree guards round small Drooping Sheoaks to stop kangaroos from grazing them, and maybe some weeding too. Enter the reserve between 20 and 22 Booth Crescent, Cook and follow dirt road to your right to the gate above the water tanks. No experience needed and all tools provided. Come protected against the sun and with some water and food to share for morning tea. Stay for just as long as you like.
  • Bird walk

    Short Description:
    Meet at the reserve entrance between 20 and 22 Booth Crescent, Cook for a walk with birdo, Nicki Taws. Bring binoculars if you can. This will be followed by a work party which you are welcome to join if you would like. We will be weeding, helped along by morning tea. No experience needed; all tools supplied.

    We will be removing guards from trees and shrubs that no longer need them, working out from the path to the summit. Enter the reserve between 20 and 22 Booth Crescent, Cook, and go uphill to your right as far as the gate above the water tanks. All are welcome, no experience needed, tools AND MORNING TEA provided. Join us for as long or as short as suits you.
