What is PlaceStories?

PlaceStories is a digital storytelling and communications system designed to meet the communication and reporting needs of community projects, networks and organisations.

The Ginninderra Catchment Group is a member of the Digital Landcare community, and we aim to publish stories which provide a snapshot of our groups and interesting projects and activities occurring within the catchment.

The Frogs for the Future Pilot Program involved the loan of an enclosure containing two Green and Golden Bell Frogs (Litoria aurea) to a school with a sustainability centre - Palmerston Primary School in 2011, with the frogs being generously loaned out by Tidbinbilla. The students learned about the frogs by directly interacting with them which included the much anticipated feeding of crickets. Click on the Place Story below:
